Kiteboarding with Cody

We spent the Fourth of July 2012 enjoying the sun, and headed out on the Rover to Cuttyhunk.  Cody brought along his kiteboard.  We set it up in the Cutthyhunk Pond and launched from the mooring there.  Cody sailed it out of the pond and into the Cuttyhunk outer harbor.  Once outside, he reached back and forth from Penikese Island to Nashawena Island.  We followed in the Rover and Caren shot the following footage, as we tracked him across the Buzzards Bay, heading home to Treetops.  The wind died past G-7, but, he’d kiteboarded most of the way back..!

I used the footage and made the following video, check it out!  It’s got a soundtrack of a weird techno-style tune I did late one night in Amsterdam.

New England Autumn

When fall comes to New England

Click for Treetops Autumn Photos- November 8, 2007

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

-Robert Frost
